Lanterna is a beautiful Adriatic beach, the sort you usually see in books. The beach is located in one of the most popular campgrounds in Croatia. The beach alternates pebbles with picturesque cliffs over a length of 3 km, has bathing plateaus and green lawns that ensure comfort, and stone steps providing easy access to the sea. The Lanterna Beach has been recognized for its clean and excellent water quality with the “Blue Flag”. Showers, changing rooms and toilets are available as well as parasol and lounge chair rentals. The trees growing near the beach – mostly pines or oaks – provide an ideal, shady refuge from the summer sun.
Surrounding the beach are a diverse range of dining options and shopping, an outdoor pool, a paddling pool and a playground for children. In addition there are various sports activities on land and water, including sailing, windsurfing, horseback riding, boat and bike rentals, beach volleyball and tennis.
